•Clinical Significance:-

•According to the pathogenesis of Ayurvedic sciences the formation of cough/ sputum is also related with weak digestion. The properties of the herbs like Sunthi, Amruta, Haridra, & Tulsi are digestive anti-inflammatory, Anti viral and Anti oxidant and are Immunity booster as well.

•Yashtimadhu,Vasa, Kantakari and Draksha are well known expectorants as they posses 'Sar guna' or removal properties so useful in cough & bronchitis to clear the passage from the Bronchioles & the Trachea. Kantakari also posses Anti-histaminic properties & is also useful for the Chest pain associated with Respiratory diseases as it is said to be Parshva pida nashak in the Ayurvedic texts.

•Draksha, Haritaki & Yashtimadhu also posses mild laxative properties (Mrudu anulomak) thereby useful in dry cough conditions. Therefore all the phyto-­ chemicals in the contents of Divkoff rightly contribute to clear the Airway in the Respiratory System against the Various Phathogenesis and causative factors for the disease.
