•Clinical Significance:-

•Anu tail is granthokta Ayurvedic formulated oil, specifically used for Nasya Karma, i.e. Nasal administration of drugs and it is one of Panchakarma procedures.

•Anu tail is specifically prepared as per direction of Charak Sanhita. This 26 herbs containing oil is prepared by using Mahendra or Wari Jal i.e.Rain water collected before it falls on ground. Also Aja Ksheer or Goat milk is used as one of the contents.

•The contents are Kapha Shamak, and Aromatic in nature.

•It is said 'Nasa hi Shiraso Dwaram',so Nasya i.e.nasal administration of this oil is rightly used for various Kapha and Vata vitiated diseases of ENT, Eyes and the Shiro Vikar. It also stimulate the Pituitary hormones useful in uterine disorders.

•Indications:-

Rhinitis, Nasal congestion, ENT disorders, Opthalmic disorders, Olfaction i.e. Loss of a feeling of smell, various vata disorders like Hemiplegia, cervical spine disorders, improvement in vovels (i.e.swar), It is also useful to prevent the viral infection etc.

•Dose :

3 to 4 drops for nasal administrations
