•Clinical Significance:-

•Colitis, irritable Bowel Syndrome & Digestive Disorders of the colon are challenging & difficult to treat permanently. The patients are always worried and undergo depressive psychosis with the non healing diseases. But Ayurveda has answer to this challenge, Tab.Clindiv ensures for the treatment of Colitis, IBS & All the disorders of the Colon, where Ayurveda describe this disease as 'GrahaniVikar'. According to Ayurveda the causative factor of the disease are Agnimandya, increased Dushit Aap Dhatu & wash out of the intestinal flora and inflammation.

•Panchamrut Parpati: This is Parpati i.e. the flake form of the medicine. It possess the properties to act on the lower GI i.e. the colon. The Deepan, Pachan, Ushna and Grahi guna of the formulation acts on Agnivruddhi I.e. increase in the appetite. As a result it help to reduce the increased Aap Dhatu & improves digestion & Diarrhea / Dysentery.

•Suntha & Bilva: Improves digestion both are appetizer and carminative Grahi Guna (i.e. the property of Ushna guna to absorb the watery stool to make it thick) of both help to absorb and digest the Aam and Dushit Aap Dhatu.

•Ativisha: is Digestive and possess the properties of Anti-diarrhea, Dysentery associated with Fever. It is also Anti-helmenthic.

•Kutaj: it is Digestive, Astringent, Anti-diarrheal, Anti-dysenteric, Anti-amoebic & Haemostatic in properties.

•Musta: The digestive, Appetizer, Grahi i.e. Absorbent nature is useful in the treatment of colitis & IBS.

•Ajmoda, Hingu, Sanchal Lavan: These are digestive, carminative and useful against the causative factors of disease. They also relieve belching, bloating and abdominal pain and its discomfort.

•Shankha Bhasma: It is digestive, Appetizer and Antispasmodic, It also possesses Grahi and Anti Diarrhoeal properties.

•Swarna Gairik: It is Astringent and Absorbent. In combination with Sunthi. I.e. Ushna Guna, its property of Jal Shoshan is enhanced to absorb the watery content of the stool in colitis, Diarrhoea & Dysentery as well.
