•Clinical Significance:-
This formulation is used in wide range of Respiratory & 'Kapha' vitiated disorders. Dalchini, Elaichi & Pimpli are 'Deepan -Pachan' i.e. Appetizer & Digestive in properties. The vitiated Kapha dosha is reduced due to this property.
Vanshalochan is strong 'Astringent' in property. The secretion of Kapha in respiratory disorders are soaked by the properties of Vanshalochan. Khadisakhar help in the expectoration & the spasm caused by thick Kapha along with all the ingredients.
Sitopaladi Churna is therefore useful in various Kapha related disorders, by making the Respiratory space hollow & empty for easy respiration. It is also usefull to provide instant energy, nourishment in weakness of diseased conditions.
•Indications:-
Cough, Cold, Pharyngitis, Sore Throat, Rhinitis, all type of respiratory disorders.
•Dose :
2.5 to 5 gm twice a day.(1/2 to 1 tsf)
